제9회 전국동시지방선거를 앞두고 인천 지역 

주요 후보자들을 대상으로 공식 집중 인터뷰를 추진한다.

이번 인터뷰는 단순한 출연 요청이 아니라 

후보자의 정책과 공약을 시민 앞에서 

검증하기 위한 심층 대담 형식으로 진행될 예정이다.

CCBS뉴스 측은 “이미지가 아니라 정책을 묻고

구호가 아니라 수치를 묻겠다”며 “가능성에 대한 

이야기보다 실제 공약의 실행 계획을 검증하는 데

 초점을 맞출 것”이라고 밝혔다.

특히 인터뷰에서는 ▲공약의 실현 가능성 ▲재정 및 행정 계획 ▲위기 상황에 대한 대응 전략

▲임기 4년 이후 시민 앞에 책임질 수 있는가 등 핵심 질문이 제시될 예정이다.

인터뷰는 후보자와의 1대1 심층 대담 방식으로 진행되며

 모든 후보자에게 동일한 기준이 적용된다. 또한 모든 발언은 사실 확인 절차를 거친 뒤 보도될 계획이다.

CCBS뉴스 탐사보도본부는 “민주주의는 투표로 끝나는 것이 아니라 기록과 질문, 

그리고 책임을 통해 완성된다”며 “지방선거는 시민과의 약속이며, 

그 약속은 기록으로 남고 결국 책임으로 돌아온다”고 밝혔다.

이어 “이번 집중 인터뷰는 말이 아니라 정책과 실행 가능성을 검증하는 과정이 될 것”이라며 “

유권자들이 후보자의 공약과 비전을 객관적으로 판단할 수 있도록 돕는 것이 목표”라고 강조했다.

CCBS News Launches In-Depth Interviews with Incheon Local Election Candidates

The investigative reporting division of CCBS News has announced plans to conduct official in-depth interviews with major candidates in the Incheon region ahead of the upcoming 9th Nationwide Local Elections in South Korea.

According to CCBS News, the interviews are not merely appearances by candidates but will be conducted as in-depth discussions designed to verify policy proposals and campaign pledges before the public.

“We will ask about policies rather than images, and numbers rather than slogans,” a CCBS News official said. “Our focus will be on examining the feasibility and implementation plans of campaign pledges rather than abstract possibilities.”

The interviews will focus on key issues including

the feasibility of campaign promises,

fiscal and administrative plans,

strategies for responding to potential crises, and

whether candidates can ultimately take responsibility before citizens after their four-year term.

Each interview will take the form of a one-on-one in-depth dialogue, and the same standards will be applied to all candidates. CCBS News also stated that all statements will undergo fact-checking procedures before being reported.

The CCBS investigative reporting team emphasized that “democracy does not end with voting; it is completed through records, questions, and accountability.”

They added that “local elections represent a promise to citizens. Those promises remain on record and ultimately return as responsibility.”

CCBS News also stressed that the purpose of the interview series is not political rhetoric but the verification of policies and their practical execution, helping voters objectively evaluate candidates’ pledges and visions.

During the election period, CCBS News plans to continue its election coverage through candidate interviews, policy analyses, and pledge verification reports.

Meanwhile, CCBS News Korea Broadcasting’s program “Let’s Praise the Good News” stated that all election-related interviews and reports will strictly comply with the guidelines and relevant laws of the National Election Commission of South Korea and the Incheon Metropolitan City Election Commission.

The organization also emphasized that its coverage will be conducted based on fair questioning and objective verification of policies, pledges, and administrative capabilities, rather than support for or opposition to any specific candidate or political party.

CCBS News stated that equal standards and opportunities will be provided to all candidates, and that all statements and materials will be delivered to citizens only after fact-checking procedures.

The broadcaster also reaffirmed its commitment to fair and responsible election reporting in order to protect citizens’ right to know and support the healthy development of democracy.
